Q: What is Center of the American Experiment?

A: Center of the American Experiment is a nonpartisan, tax-exempt, public policy, and educational institution.  Founded in 1990, we have become the premier public policy organization in Minnesota.  American Experiment believes that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are best secured by ideas rooted in free enterprise, limited government, individual liberty, and traditional American values.  We bring those values and ideas to bear on the most difficult issues facing Minnesota.

Q: What types of events does American Experiment host?

A: American Experiment hosts a variety of public policy events and forums.   The two most well known of those events are our Annual Dinner, which is held each spring, and our Fall Briefing.  Numerous world leaders have spoken at these events, including Former President George Bush, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Margaret Thatcher.    

Q: What is American Experiment’s FACT Program and IntellectualTakeout.com?

A: FACT, Foundations in Active Conservative Thinking, is a program of Center of the American Experiment designed to provide students with the tools they need to advocate for conservative ideas and causes on campus.  IntellectualTakeout.com is a groundbreaking website, which provides students with with free-market and conservative points of view that are not always available in the classroom.

Q: How can I become invloved with American Experiment?

A: American Experiment offers a number of types of membership opportunities and benefits.  These memberships range from a Supporting Membership for $75 to a Trustee Membership for $10,000.  Donations to American Experiment are tax deductible. 

Q: Who funds American Experiment?

A: Our funding comes from individual donors, foundations, and businesses. We do not accept, nor do we solicit, any government grants or funding.

Q: Is American Experiment affiliated with any poltical party?
